What can we do for you?

Our annual grant program provides the means to connect students with the resources, experiences and opportunities to meet their full potential and enhance learning in our local classrooms.

Enrichment and innovation grants provide up to a $1000 in funding and are targeted at projects that can have a meaningful impact on a small group or individual classroom of students.   For grants up to $5000 that impact even more students, check out our Big Idea grants Here.

Applications must be received and complete by 11:59 pm on October 20th

For fall 2024, the Bellingham School Foundation has identified the following priority areas for funding:

Mental health support and social emotional learning
STEM
Literacy and Libraries

However, projects are not limited to these categories.  If you have an impactful or creative project that doesnt fit neatly into one of these categories please apply!

Enrichment and Innovation Grant Process

Enrichment Grants are available to support needs up to $1,000.

STEP ONE – COMPLETE A DRAFT APPLICATION

Complete and review the draft application above. This form is a template to help you prepare your final online application. We highly recommend you formulate your answers ahead of time as you cannot save the online form and return to it later.

STEP TWO – SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Submit your final documentation online using the button at the top of this page.

STEP THREE – FUNDING

Awards will be made in November 2024.  If successful, a grant agreement must be signed by the responsible parties before funds are released.

STEP FOUR – HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!

All grantees are required to complete a brief report back to the Foundation  so we can share your success with our donors – who make these grants possible!  Wherever possible we ask recipients to share photos of their project, student thank yous, or other special items that can help connect our community to your classroom.
